I am 24 years old and I weigh 380 lbs. Where should I start on my journey to lose weight?

I have never lived my life and I need to start. I am tired of living like this. I have always been heavy set. I had my thyroid checked out and it’s normal.

  1. Stop eating and drinking sugary things and start walking that should peel off some pounds all by itself.

  2. Cut down on fats and sugars. And walk for a half an hour everyday is what my doctor told me.

  3. you have already started, by accepting you need to change. Now, you can try walking for let’s say 10 minutes, at a comfortable speed, maybe once around the block, and keep adding 5 minutes every 4-5 days. Decrease your calorie consumption, no sodas, no fried foods.
    I had to lose 50 lbs 3 years ago, and what i did was downscaling fats from my food, not quantity. For example, i had a huge bowl of oats with skimmed milk and splenda for breakfast. Fruit salad midmorning, fish or chicken (oven-broiled) and boiled vegetables for lunch and a big greens salad for dinner. Drink at least 75 oz of water a day, and when you feel you are able to keep up with a routine, join a gym. Swimming is also good, but it gives me the munchies, so i stuck to walking, and then power-walking. The american heart association has a nice page that can help you get started.

  4. Lord, will I be here 10 years from now? Will I be able to attract the man of my disire before I get as old as my mother? Why am I eating what I eat, at the times I eat, and in the amount I eat? My Dear please start by a prayer from your soul. See food (cooked food) as your enemy, and fat as a poison, espically fast food. Make water your friend and walking even for 10 minutes companion. I was 175 at 39years 5ft. 6inc. I had to get angry first, to love me enough to stop killing me.

  7. Gastric bypass Surgery is a good method if all the diets have failed. But you have to change your eating life style for life for any benefits to help you.
