Best ways to travel from DC to Vermont over thanksgiving weekend?
I can leave anytime on wednesday (i’m thinking 6AM).
and i was wondering, considering how bad the traffic is going to be, what would be the best route to take from Washington, DC to Burlington, VT?

I guess take 95 N to87N (Northway) to 7
i have driven it a few times . should take about 12 hours
or fly

I95 north jerseys always not good but unless you want to take all back roads ??
to I87 north
could try the taconic parkway in beacon off of I84 NY
but you never know on that road
.i live off of exit 20 of the nyst its rarely ever seriously busy on any holiday unless there’s an accident as you get to Albany sure there will be some traffic but shouldn’t be that bad
